ગોપિત રહે કદી
ગોપિત રહે કદી, કદી સાક્ષાત્ હોય છે,
મારી ગઝલમાં તારી રજૂઆત હોય છે.
ફરિયાદ લઈને આવું છું હું તારે આંગણે,
નીકળે જે કંઠમાંથી કબૂલાત હોય છે.
લાગે છે જ્યારે કંઈ જ જીવનમાં બચ્યું નથી;
જીવનની એ નવી જ શરૂઆત હોય છે.
આપી દે એકવાર… આ જીવન એ આપનાર,
બાકીની જિંદગી તો વસૂલાત હોય છે.
દરિયો જ શાંત હોય એ પૂરતું નથી ‘રઈશ’,
ક્યારેક માત્ર નાવમાં ઉત્પાત હોય છે.
