એની કોઈ સજા નહીં
કરું હું એક ખતા ને બની જાય એ ગુનો,
અને એ દિલ તોડ્યા કરે એની કોઈ સજા નહીં…
દિવસ પસાર થાય, ક્યાંક જીવું ને ક્યાંક મરું,
અને એ હાલત ને લાચારી સમજે એની કોઈ સજા નહીં…
જુદાઈના ગમમાં રહું ને ઉમ્મીદ હું રાખ્યા કરું,
અને એ ઉમ્મીદ પર ખરા ના ઉતરે એની કોઈ સજા નહીં…
એક મુલાકાત હું ચાહું ને એ સમય રોકી રાખું
અને એ સમયને જ બહાના બતાવે એની કોઈ સજા નહીં…
કેટલી રાતો જાગું ને એ ચાહત બયાન કરું,
અને એ લાગણીઓને ગઝલ સમજે એની કોઈ સજા નહીં…
